INDUSTRIAL MINERALS – NATURALLY FOR YOU
Rajasthan and Gujarat are rich in industrial mineral production from the mines situated in this belt. Our base / business offices are in this area. It facilitates availability of pure, high grade mineral powders from sophisticated grinding mills located at various sites in these states.
The following mineral powders are available for supply by us-
Talc / Soapstone
Most people are familiar with the mineral known as “talc”. It can be crushed into a white powder that is widely known as “talcum powder.” This powder has the ability to absorb moisture, absorb oils, absorb odor, serve as a lubricant, and produce an astringent effect with human skin.
Talc Uses
Talc has many uses.
- In the making of paper, paint, plastic, electrodes, food, medicine, cosmetics and ceramics.
- In medicine, talc is used as filler.
- The talc can be used as a polishing agent in the polishing stage in the white rice process.
- It is widely used in the ceramic industry both in the body and in the secrets
Calcite / Calcium Carbonate
Calcite is the most common form of natural calcium carbonate (CaCO3) Calcite is colorless or white when pure.
Calcium carbonate is widely used across various industries such as: –
- Paper
- Plastics
- Paints & coatings
- Personal health
- Food & beverage
- Textile

China Clay / Kaolin
Kaolin, also called china clay, soft white clay that is an essential ingredient in the manufacture of tableware and is widely used in the making of paper, rubber, paint, and many other products.
Kaolin uses-
Paper Industry: The primary use of kaolin is in the paper industry.
It serves as a paper coating which improves appearance by helping in brightness, smoothing and gloss.
Porcelain & tableware etc, Kaolin still serves as a valuable component in bone- china and other table wares.
Other Uses: paint, rubber, cable insulation, specialty films and fertilizers.
Barytes
It is the naturally occurring mineral form of barium sulphate. Main properties being its high specific gravity (4.5), very low solubility, it is also non-toxic, chemically and physically unreactive.
Uses of Barytes
- Glass making
- Abrasive
- Foundry sand manufacturing of Ferro
- silicon, silicon metal, silicon carbide etc
- Watches and clocks
